On a recent trip to New York City, one of my co-workers requested that we stop and eat some genuine New York Pizza. It seems that on nearly every block in New York City you will find a place that sells pizza and many of these establishments look like frozen yogurt or smoothie shops with no place to sit. After walking several blocks we found Bravo Pizza that looked like a real pizzeria. Already-made pizza slices are waiting and ready to purchase–you make your selection and they put it in the oven and heat it up.
Bravo Pizza offers both New York and Chicago style pizza, calzones and rolls, vegetarian pizzas, pizzas loaded with meat, baked ziti pizzas, and stuffed pizzas. You can buy pizza by the slice or by the pie. They have ziti, penne, and rigatoni pastas. And, hot Italian heros (I found out these are sandwiches–not men).
The pizza here was great as were the prices. We recommend that you stick with the New York style, not the deep dish Chicago style.
