One of my favorite places to take people in San Francisco is The View lounge at the top of the Marriott Marquis downtown. In addition to good food and adult beverages, The View lounge offers a panoramic view of San Francisco. Yesterday I took one of my teenage daughters and her boyfriend to The View lounge to enjoy the view. The skies were clear and the view incredible. When it is dark the view is even more incredible with the city lights. We shared a prosciutto and arugula pizza, which was marvelous. It had a touch of pesto, red and yellow baby tomatoes, and plenty of prosciutto. Oh, and I had a cosmo. The Marriott Marquis is located at 55 4th Street, just a few blocks south of Market Street.
